The staff was not kind at all, except for the guy of the entrance and the last lady we saw, the service responsable or something like that, that tried to fix the mess our last day at least there is ONE person who cares about service in this hotel The beakfast self service is good, as you do it your self!
Very expensive for nothing I'll never comme back and I do not recomended. It is a well located hotel in boca grande, friendly people and excellent facilities! The rooms are clean, bathrooms. Has a great view to playa de boca grande but If you guys are going in groups, dont even try to book by mail, find another way!
Because they dont answer. Lost food, snacks etc it was good, but they must be more attentive. Please do not be fooled by the 5-stars that this hotel gives itself. It is nothing close. This is perhaps a 3. Those are 5-Star hotels. OK, so there is nothing wrong with the Almirante, but it truly does misrepresent itself. Most of the top end or boutique hotels are not by the beach If you want the beach which is nothing amazing , then this hotel has the perfect location.
BUT, the greatest selection of shops and restaurants of all variety is in the old town. So, the beach is the only draw. Having spent 5 days here I can honestly say that you are best to stay in the old town. You can then hop a bus, shuttle or taxi to the beach during the day Almirante has an 'ok' pool, standard rooms, and an decent restaurant. Views from the rooms are terrible as the windows all need to be replaced.
So, a view which should be excellent is not so good. Wife access was great. The attached pizzeria is very good. There is a great restaurant across the road.
